A Yellow Card total is a pile of suspected reports. It is not a body count, and it is not proof that a medicine caused a death.
On 11 August 2026, UK press circulated MHRA Yellow Card totals: about 216 suspected fatal-outcome reports across three GLP-1 medicines, about 120 of them for tirzepatide.
Those reports are suspected. Duplicates are possible. A Yellow Card report does not mean the medicine caused the event. There is no new label change in that coverage.
